The other day I had a real serious problem keeping my brain on the right thing. I find it always seems to occur when I am using the Internet. I go on looking for one thing and end up going off on a tangent looking at several others! This day was no exception.

I was at work and my boss had asked me to price skip hire up in the local area as they needed to hire one in order to clean out some offices for refurbishment. I knew this wouldn't be a problem, one thing I did know was that I knew my way around the world wide web, as well as round the local area. So it was an easy job.

As Istarted to look, my initial search including the word 'prices' threw up a few suggestions of web sites showing insurance prices, which reminded me I needed to price up insurance for a car I was hoping to buy. I was close to taking my driving test and although I didn't know the outcome I had realised pricing up insurance for the car I had in mind was something I really should do, so offI went on one of those tangents looking up prices for different policies on the little blue Peugeot my heart was set on. What seemed like hours later I was still as confused as when I started.

Going back to my original search (once I had remembered what that was) I was presented with a few pages of local area skip hire, but because of my search including the town I lived in, being the local area, it also threw up some other things in the local area, one of which was schools. I very, very nearly clicked on the pageI should have, but knowing I needed to look at schools for my little boy who was fast approaching needing one that option seemed a much more interesting one. A good hour or so later I was at degree level on the knowledge of the local schools and felt I had two in mind for my little boy.

I had decided long ago that before he started school I'd like to maybe do some long distance travel. Looking for his school reminded me, so as I had forgotten what I was supposed to be looking for in the first place by this point anyway I decided to check out some travel sites next!.... Several travel companies later, several different packages and price and I still had no idea where I should take him.

I was rudely interrupted from my absorption of the australian scenery by my boss asking where skip hire prices were, 'sheesh' I thought, some people have no patience.
