Its been five years since the last time I seen this driving school. And the building almost look the same which brings back the memories five years ago. I still remember the classic car that I first drove in a hot summer day.

I wonder where that car is. Driving has been a fun-learning experience for me. I gained friends and was able to boost my confidence. It wasn't really my plan to enroll in that driving school but my Mom insisted that I need to learn how to drive. I said, "I don't need to drive. I'm just a woman." "Even though you are just a woman, you still need to know how to drive a car. You need to become independent especially nowadays", Mom explained to me. She has a point. She asked me to look for a driving school where I can enroll. I wasn't interested that time so I didn't pay much attention to what my Mom was saying.

One night, while my Mom was preparing our dinner, she fainted. I was in my room when I heard some noise of a broken glass. To my surprise, I saw my Mom lying on the floor unconscious. I didn't know what to do. Its just the two of us in the house. We got a car but I can't drive cause I didn't know how to. I needed to rush my Mom to the hospital. Luckily, my brother came in the nick of time. He was in a motorbike. He hastily took the car key and drove mom to the hospital. After a while, the doctor went out and told us there's nothing to worry about my Mom's condition. She just need to rest because she got overfatigued which caused her to faint. That's when I realized that my Mom was right. I really need to learn how to drive in case of emergency, like that incident. What if my brother did not came? I will not be able to forgive myself if something bad happened to my Mom.

The next morning, I went to this driving school to inquire and enroll for driving class. The incident has pushed me to take driving lessons. I realized its importance and worth. I was just doing this for myself but for my family and other circumstances that needs driving. I promised my Mom that once I get my driver's license, I will be her personal driver. She felt so happy and hugged me. As they say, "Mothers know best"! And its true!
